Mandatory Dress Rehearsal
Leffler Chapel and Performance Center

WHAT TO BRING:

  • Things to keep entertained (dress rehearsal and show nights are a couple of hours of being in your dressing room).
  • Lots of water (please don’t bring drinks that would stain costumes) There are also drinking fountains you can use backstage.
  • Snacks (you will be backstage or dancing and we want you to have the energy you need to be your best). Please no food containing peanuts.
  • All costume pieces, shoes and accessories labeled with your name on them. Costumes can be labeled on tags of costumes, shoes can be marked with masking tap on inside (We suggest bringing additional costumes in a laundry bucket)

*THE DRESS REHEARSAL IS A CLOSED REHEARSAL. PARENTS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO STAY AND WATCH.

*THE SHOW IS PROJECTED IN MOST DRESSING ROOMS

*REMINDER: ABSOLUTELY NO PHOTOS OR VIDEO TAKING INSIDE DRESSING ROOMS BY DANCERS AND/OR BACKSTAGE VOLUNTEERS!

*STUDENTS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO LEAVE OR WONDER AROUND THE BUILDING AT ANY TIME.

DROP OFF OF ALL DANCERS

ALL DANCERS DROP OFF TIME: 4:00 p.m. – 5:00p.m.
Dancers are to be dressed in their first costume, with show hair and make-up done BEFORE coming to the theater. They must be in the chapel by 5:00pm. Dress rehearsal will start at 5:30 with 2 runs from 5:30-7 and then again from 7:30-9pm.
DROP OFF LOCATION: Right side of building double doors to Leffler Chapel(see image above). There will be signs and guides to help you find drop off location. (When facing the main entrance, the side door is on the right side of the building.) All dancers must be dropped off at this location and checked in by staff.

DANCERS PICK UP AGED 12 AND UNDER

All dancers aged 12 and under will be picked up from the chapel lobby.

ESTIMATED PICK-UP TIME AFTER DRESS REHEARSAL: 9:00p.m. (This time may vary due to how long the dress rehearsal lasts.) Please be patient as rehearsals can sometimes go outside this schedule time.

*ALL DANCERS MUST take home all costumes, shoes and accessories each day. We suggest you go through them all when you get home and make sure you have everything. e-dance center is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Dancers without costumes/costume pieces will not be permitted on stage. LABEL, LABEL, LABEL ALL COSTUME PIECES, ACCESSORIES AND SHOES!

DANCERS PICK UP AGED 13 AND UP

Older dancers aged 13+ only are to pick up all their belongings from their dressing room and then exit by exiting the side doors where they were dropped off.

ALL DANCERS MUST take home all costumes, shoes and accessories each day. We suggest you go through them all when you get home and make sure you have everything.
